I am the independent editor and publisher behind Veiled Codex Press. I created the press from a personal interest in ancient Christianity, apocrypha, forgotten religious writings, manuscript culture, and the history of books.
The goal is to gather older and lesser-known texts into editions that are approachable, deliberate, and made to be read—not simply archived.
Why Veiled Codex Press

The name Veiled Codex reflects the kind of books the press is drawn to: texts partly obscured by time, overlooked traditions, surviving fragments, and writings worth bringing back into view.
The newer design direction puts the reading experience first: quiet pages, generous margins, simpler hierarchy, and less interruption between the reader and the text.

Readable texts
Older writings should be presented in a form modern readers can actually sit with for long stretches.
Historical character
The design should respect the age of the material without turning every page into a museum display.
Unusual writings
The catalogue focuses on texts and traditions that are old, overlooked, uncommon, or difficult to find gathered together.

Typography, spacing, materials, and proportion should support the text rather than compete with it.
